40 Million people are enslaved around the world, 25% of those are children.
In America, land of the free, there are hundreds of thousands of children that are not free - who are being exploited for labor and sex. The average age of entry is 11-14.
That is not ok with us and we're pretty sure it's not ok with you. So we have created a nationwide awareness event on Friday November 20th, to celebrate Universal Children's Day AND raise awareness about child trafficking.
We like simple ideas that are easy to implement and have a GIANT impact. We are inviting our friends, neighbors and families to turn on their porch lights the evening of 11/20/20 to shine a light in the darkness about child exploitation and let the children know who may have runaway that they are loved and we want them to come home - literally and figuratively. If home is not secure, they are welcome at a neighbors or find a safe house for them to go.
The idea is simple.
Purchase a blue lightbulb, put it in your porch light.
On Friday November 20th, at dusk, turn on the light - letting the world know that you are a light in the darkness for children.
You'll also have an opportunity to help us raise funds to continue educating and empowering youth to prevent them from becoming victims of exploitation. We'll even give you a gift to commemorate your participation.
Please Keep checking back here for more information as we kick off Oct 1st with our awareness campaign.

Together we can light up the night and keep our kids safe!
