We've educated over 38,000 youth and adults over the past 8 years about online exploitation, human trafficking and tactics used to lure children in and most importantly what we can do to prevent it!
Our educational programs and workshops start with a conversation on how trafficking happens. We then show our award winning film, Trapped in the Trade, sharing Samantha's journey of being targeted, romanced and intentionally recruited by two ‘friends’ in school, betraying her trust, ensuring she is lured into sex trafficking.  We show how the traffickers and recruiters use coercion, guilt and manipulation to gain a child's trust and then threats to trap them in the sex trade.

We are out in the community educating and empowering families to have conversations
that can help save lives. Check out some of our upcoming events!

Our Programs Are Cutting Edge and Effective!
Our educational programs are cutting edge and engaging. We've trained over 38,000 children, teens, young adults and community members since January of 2017. We use either our Award Winning film, Trapped in the Trade, to disrupt what people think they 'know' about exploitation or I am Little Red to show that there are wolves along the path of life that can take you off your game.  After the film we engage the youth in 'What if' scenarios and have them do the critical thinking, empowering them to prevent them from being lured into the life.
Students learn:
  • What is human trafficking and exploitation
  • Grooming and Recruitment tactics used
  • Apps and games where traffickers target youth
  • Signs of trafficking and exploitation
  • Laws that protect them
  • Actions to take to prevent it
Paving The Way Foundation, Inc, is committed that the cycle ends, bringing educational programs to empower our youth with the tools to prevent them from becoming victims of exploitation, sex trafficking, bullying or abuse. Our programs are thought provoking and engage the students to end this silent crime in our schools, educating them on what actions to take when the scenario presents itself and gives them the confidence to disrupt it.

90% recommend this training for other students, teachers and parents!!!

Educational Programs and Workshops

For Students
Our Cyber Savvy Kidz © program educates students and those that surround them on how quickly children can become victims of this silent crime and most importantly how to prevent that from happening.
Our program consists of 2-90 minutes programs or 3-60 minutes programs, that cover grooming and recruitment tactics, social media challenges, laws that keep them safe and internet safety tools.
The uniqueness of our program has students engaged and empowered to make solid choices and avoid potentially dangerous situations.

PEER Advocacy Program: Prevent, Engage, Equip, Respond
This is the evolution of our prevention education program that protects youth from abuse, exploitation and trafficking that promotes physical and mental well being.

The PEER Program is an innovative, engaging educational program that develops peer leaders and advocates to be a safe space for others who may be experiencing abuse, harm, bullying or online exploitation within our schools and community. Our programs encourage leadership and social responsibility in our participants by participating in a coordinated, community-level strategy to address issues among at-risk youth. The beauty of this program is the youth create and develop it alongside one another and the facilitators.

This program is led by compassionate trauma trained facilitators and subject matter experts in the field of advocacy and prevention education. They are trained to engage the students with thought provoking questions, developing critical thinking skills that promote a culture of safety, empowerment, and healing.

Education and Training Programs for Parents
Look, we get it. Being a parent isn't easy. The world is not like it was when we were kids. With all of the technology surrounding our children, it can be challenging to have a conversation without alienating them, let alone talk with them about something as serious as human trafficking and online exploitation.

You want information that empowers you. Here you'll learn what human trafficking or modern day slavery really is, what it looks like, recruitment and grooming tactics used to lure your children in and, most importantly, how to keep your kids safe.  Our monthly Parent Tech Talks educate and empower parents to have those uncomfortable conversations about topics that seem taboo.

You'll discover how to begin talking with your kids about this topic, leaving you both empowered and prepared. You'll watch our film, Trapped in the Trade, then we discuss how to even start the conversation with your kids and how to keep them safe.

For information on the next course, reach out to us here.

Want to get an early start? Great - check out our Parent Tool Kit to begin those conversations.
